New Driver Education Program, an initiative for tomorrows driver!
A one-day practical Driver Development format, held at our venue, this program is designed for all young drivers who either have their licence, or are about to go for their drivers licence.
‘New Driver’ instils the fundamentals of good driving practices to protect you in your formative years behind the wheel. The day encompasses many practical assessments including, but not limited to, driving tasks in braking, steering, emergency avoidance, perception of risks whilst driving and factors that affect us as drivers.
The ‘New Driver’ program shares the same foundation of knowledge as all Total Driver Development programs and is an integral component of our learn to drive format. In this program we aim to instil the values of what good driving is all about, attitudes whilst behind the steering wheel and understanding the ever-changing driving environment.
New Driver is supported by our Learn to Drive School. Driving educators who have been specifically chosen on their performance, diligence and passion for teaching young drivers how to drive have been taught our techniques in driving to use in conjunction with Department of Transport guidelines. We have shown that by using this method we can dramatically reduce learning times yet increasing learnt outcomes over conventional training.
This method also enables a platform of knowledge and skill to project from with the ‘New Driver’ Development program, again complementing the learning process and building on knowledge and skills learnt.
Driver Assessment. Our on line assessment program supports our ‘Schools education’, ‘New Driver’ and ‘Driver Development’ programs. The Driver assessment is a multiple-choice questionnaire that addresses road rules, vehicle maintenance, driving situations, general knowledge and others. The assessment quantifies our training, provides a more holistic approach to all courses and can be used for company rewards, staff member of the month and other initiatives.
As with all of our programs we encourage parents to
participate so they may assist in the learning process
in our absence.
